Willis Park – $525,000
In August of 2015, ICAN was selected for the renovation of Willis Park, a passive community park located in the City of Avondale Estates. With the project being over budget, ICAN worked with the design team and city leaders to create a project within budget, providing value to community constituents. With a project value of $515,000, consisting of:
- Demolition and removal of existing pavilion and playground structures, concrete pads and trees
- Insulation of pavilion structure and plaza, entrance structure and plaza, walking trails and boardwalk
- Insulation of playground, small granite retaining walls
- Lighting of entrance
- Insulation of irrigation and landscaping
- Clearing and grading concrete/asphalt/slatescape trails
- Erosion Control, Storm and Water Draining, and all utilities
